Wealthy Web Writer: New Year Challenge

Let’s kick-off the year right with an exciting Web-Writing Challenge! If you undertake this Challenge, you’ll see your web-writing skills grow by leaps and bounds. You’ll develop a greater understanding of both the depth and breadth of skills that web writing demands. And, you’ll set yourself up to earn a passive stream of income. It’s a win-win-win situation … plus, you could receive a fabulous prize when the Challenge is completed.

You may have already guessed what the first Wealthy Web Writer Challenge of 2012 is … creating and launching your own Money-Making Website.

If you already have a Money-Making Website up and rolling, now is the perfect time to launch a second one.

To participate, here’s what you need to do:

  • Opt in. You have until March 15th to opt-in, but the sooner you opt-in, the more time you’ll have to see what others are doing, to receive tips from me by email, and to get feedback on your progress. I know that seems like a long way out there, but it will be here before you know it. A generous time frame gives you more time to make your site the best it can be.
  • Declare in the comments below your intent to participate. If you know the focus of your site, share that, too.
  • Spend the next 10 weeks setting up your website and adding content.
  • On March 31st, you’ll send in an email to show us what you’ve done with your new site.

Those are the basic steps, but obviously there’s a lot that goes into creating a Money-Making Website, from choosing the focus to designing the site to writing and placing the content. If you don’t have it already, I highly recommend investing in Nick Usborne’s How to Write Your Own Money-Making Websites program. It will give you a definite advantage when completing this Challenge.

    I opted in when you ran a similar challenge in October, but then I allowed life to get in the way. I’ve got the niche, I’ve got the information I need, but it’s all in my head. It has to get onto an actual website for me to do this. This time life isn’t going to get in the way.

    I will opt in to this – I missed when you posted it on the 16th or I’d have been first! This is one of my goals for the year and so it is great to have an extra incentive.

    I am in. I have Nick’s program, and I have been paying for SBI for months (with no website to show for it), and I keep getting bogged down. It is all in my head, but I can’t even get my niche figured out. Maybe this is just what I need to help me focus, and really apply myself to the resources I already have.
