So you’ve decided to build a Money-Making Website. Congratulations!

Before you start on your new venture, I’ll let you in on a secret that I learned through experience.

You need one critical character trait… one key ingredient. It can be the difference between success and failure.

So, what is this character trait?

You Can’t “Learn” This

One word: tenacity.

To paraphrase the dictionary definition, tenacity is ‘the quality of being very determined; determination; persistence.’

Why is tenacity so important? Surely creativity, passion, and knowledge are more important?

Well actually, no. You can take courses to develop your creativity. You can set goals to define your true passion. You can learn the skills to build a website. But you can’t “learn” tenacity. This comes from within. And while you can’t learn it… you can cultivate it. More on that in a few moments.

Without tenacity, you’ll fail. Allow me to explain.

  • Good article…but you forgot to mention that it applies to EVERYTHING about writing for a living, not just money making websites. The writer’s life isn’t all unicorns and rainbows.
