How You Can Make a Lucrative Living Writing B2B White Papers

Date: April 3, 2012

Time: 3pm, Eastern Time

Topic: White Papers

Presenter: Steve Slaunwhite

Marketing managers of B2B companies are desperate. They’re desperate for good white papers to persuade business buyers to learn about, and ultimately buy, their products and services.

Without at least one well-written white paper, a B2B company is at a serious competitive disadvantage.

Eighty-four percent of businesses find white papers influential in their purchasing decisions. So, it’s no wonder white paper writers can command high fees—$2000 to $6500 for 5 to 10 pages—and it’s no wonder they are in such high demand.

In this event, B2B copywriting expert, Steve Slaunwhite joins us to share his insights into writing B2B white papers.
During this event you’ll learn:

  • The structure of a white paper so that you know each and every element your clients expect you to include.
  • How white papers work as a lead generation and sales conversion tool
  • Common mistakes and how to avoid them.
  • How white papers can lead to a much broader project scope and more lucrative fee.
  • And, much more.

  • Cannot Access the Steve Slaunwhite Event with Gordon Graham today on 04/03/2012 @ 2:00 PM CDT.
Very frustrated with the whole process. Even went to Steves website on Pats suggestion and got nowhere.
Will I be able to access the recording/replay?

    John Collins

    • Hi John,

The playback for the presentation by Steve on White Papers will go up today. This was the event on 4/3 at 2 CDT. This is a different event than the interview with Gordon Graham. Let me know which event you had trouble accessing, and I’ll do my best to help.

  • I was on the webinar, but at the end, during questions, I lost audio and had asked a question that might have been answered. The question was: Can Steve or AWAI supply assistance with samples or the form of agreements used with clients who retain me to write whitepapers?
    Jim North

    • HI Jim,

I’m working on tracking down an agreement to post to this page. It may take me a day or two. Thank you for following up.

      • Hi Heather
Just checking again to learn if you’ve been successful in finding the ‘agreement’.

        Thanks,
        Jim

        • Hi Jim,
I haven’t been able to locate it in the programs, so I’ve sent a message to Steve. I expect to hear back soon!
          Heather

          • Thanks Heather,

I’ll look forward to his response through you.

            Jim

  • Sorry I missed this webinar; I had signed up for it but missed it due to a scheduling conflict so I look forward to listening to the playback. How can I access it?

  • An email I received yesterday afternoon said this webinar recording was available…with an offer. But, I don’t see it on this site.

  • Hi Heather,
Actually it wasn’t the offer I was asking about…it was the recording itself. I can’t access it.

    • What happens when you click the playback button. Also, what browser and operating system do you use?

      • Same result with either Chrome or Internet Explorer…operating system is Windows XP. No ‘playback’ button to click.
