Reality Blog: Find Your FocusHello again, Wealthy Web Writers!

This is it. My final blog post as a Wealthy Web Writer Reality Blogger. I’ll try to hold back the tears as I share some final words of advice, tell you where I’m going next, and say goodbye. Here we go …

Let’s talk about focus. It’s something I get a lot of questions about and an area that I’m always aiming to improve.

Now, when I say “focus,” I’m not referring to focusing on one task at a time. (Although that’s a better method than multitasking.)

When I say “focus,” I mean long-term focus — or keeping your goals in mind every day and making progress on those goals.

For instance, focusing on building a web-writing business could include learning how to write web copy, building your freelance website, and communicating with potential clients.

But, how can you ensure you’re focusing and not getting distracted?

7 Steps to Find (and Keep) Your Focus

Here are seven steps to, first, figure out what to focus on and, then, maintain that focus over time:

Step 1 — Decide where you’ll focus.

Brendon Burchard once posted on his Facebook page, “Perhaps the world isn’t giving you what you want because based on all your distractions and lack of discipline it’s simply unclear what you are asking for.”

As someone who strongly believes, “what you think about, you bring about,” that is a powerful statement.

How can you think about — and ultimately achieve — what you want in life, if YOU aren’t sure what you want?
