How To Display Widgets Only on Certain Pages

In this edition of Tech Corner, I’ll show you how to set up and use a simple plugin to control which pages your widgets are displayed on.

By default in WordPress, when you add a sidebar widget, it’s visible on all of your pages.

Sometimes, however, it would be nice to control which widgets get displayed on which pages.

This type of widget display is often referred to as conditional or context display, and just means you can choose when and where your widgets are displayed.

Fortunately, with a simple WordPress plugin, you’ve got that flexibility.

Although there are a few options available, the one I’ll be showing you today is called Display Widgets by Strategy11.

Let’s go get it!

We’ll start, as we always do, by navigating to the Plugins page from your website’s dashboard page and clicking “Add New”…
