Save Time by Scheduling Your Social Media Posts… Here’s How

Scheduling your social media postsSocial media is a great way to promote your copywriting services and expertise to potential clients. But there’s a downside. If you have to create content, login to a network, and post multiple times per day to reach your prospects, you won’t have any focused time left for writing.

How can you use social media without spending hours a day on it?

Schedule your content in advance.

Buffer and Hootsuite are two tools that can help you with this. But they can be a bit confusing to get started, so let’s take a closer look…

Here are the four most important tasks you can complete with these scheduling tools.

Connect Your Accounts

Before you can schedule your content, you’ll need to create a profile and connect your social media accounts. Both Buffer and Hootsuite have free plans available to start. Use the login details from one of your social media accounts, like Twitter, or an email address.

Now, you’ll need to give permission for the apps to post to the accounts for you.

In Buffer, find Accounts on the left-hand side of your dashboard and click the plus sign.

Select the network and the account type you want to add from the list. Put in your username and password to connect the account and give permission.
