Lately, I’ve started to check my Facebook messages more often than my business email.
And it’s not because I’ve thrown my time management habits out the window. It’s because I’m actually starting to get as much, if not more, business via Facebook than through other sources.
And I’m not alone. Many copywriters are getting most, if not all, of their business on Facebook.
I love it because it comes naturally to me to connect with people and get to know them on Facebook. It only makes sense to steer those conversations towards work.
Whether it’s because younger people are more likely to use Messenger than email, or because of the growing popularity of Facebook groups devoted to connecting writers with clients, Facebook is starting to become a very decent place to look for copywriting work.
