Roving Report: Give Marketers What They Want

As the Founder of Wealthy Web Writer, Rebecca Matter is a marketer on a mission: to help you achieve success as a freelance web writer.

As a marketer herself, one of Rebecca’s favorite ways to make that happen is to share what it is that she looks for in the writers she hires.

Armed with that knowledge, you’ll do a better job of giving other marketers what they want and making it easier for them to hire you.

To show marketers you’re the writer they’re looking for, Rebecca zeroed in on what you need to include on your professional website. Many members attended the webinar live, and you can review it HERE.

She quickly polled the live attendees before she launched her presentation to see who already had a professional website. Fewer than half did.

“I’m guessing a lot of you are here to figure out what to put on your website,” she explained. “I want to encourage everybody here to have a website.”

Susanna Perkins

Susanna was dragged back, kicking and screaming, into freelancing after losing her job in the banking meltdown in March, '09. One 3-month stint in an appalling temp job persuaded her to get serious about establishing herself as web writer. In March, 2012, she moved to a small town in Panama with her husband and three small dogs. After enjoying the writer's life in the culture of "buenas" and "mañana" for 2-1/2 years, she's returned to the US. At least for now.
