Last time, I mentioned that over 90% of our income this year has come from “income earned as a direct result of our website.”
What does this mean… and how can your Money-Making Website generate leads?
We’ll reveal all shortly. But first, some background.
About three years ago, I read an interesting take on Money-Making Websites from Rebecca Matter. She said, “… if I were starting a new freelance writing business tomorrow, I’d start with a Money-Making Website.” An update of this article can be found here.
This had me scratching my head. How so?
At the time, I had just created a freelance writing website and associated social media. I was looking at Money-Making Websites as a way to earn some passive income but hadn’t yet started building one.
I was skeptical. Yet I’ve always respected Rebecca’s advice. So I kept it tucked away for another time.
And you know what? She’s right! But there is one catch. We’ll get to this soon.
So, what do I mean by “income earned as a direct result of our website”? Simply this. It’s income generated directly from our Top Wire Traveller brand.
For example, right now I’m re-writing a website for a small business, Wedgetail Campers. They manufacture and sell campers… the same brand of camper we have on the back of our truck.
So how did I find this work?
