In early May, I duly reported progress towards my goal of generating an income stream of $3,000 per month by December 31, 2019. Well, it’s that time of year again. Time to lay my earnings out on the table in my latest income report card.
First though, a quick recap of my progress for the first third of the year. You can re-read the full post here.
A Summary of January-April
Average income for January to April was $1,235 per month. 10% came from advertising and affiliate marketing. 90% came from income earned as a direct result of our website. To better understand what this means, go here.
So, what’s the result for May to August inclusive?
A Few Surprises
Here’s our monthly income:
May = $1,120
June = $7,225
July = $2,405
August = $3,410
For the second third of this year, the average monthly income is $3,540 per month. Does this mean I’ve reached my goal? Technically yes, but realistically no. More on this later.
