Do you have a special writing place? You know, the special lounge chair or outside area where you sit and create your next masterpiece? Or maybe the bathtub? More on this soon…
I do. However, I didn’t realize how important my special writing place was… until I no longer had it.
Out of Sorts
If you’ve been following my Reality Blog journey for a while, you’ll know Peta and I live full-time in a truck camper and wander through outback Australia. We’ve been doing this for nearly two years now and our house-on-wheels is our home.
You might also remember we’re back at our house for a while, selling and downsizing. When we made the decision to sell, I thought, “Brilliant, we’ll be in a house for a couple of months and I’ll be able to get heaps of work done.”

I Just Couldn’t Concentrate!
Before we left to travel Australia, I would happily sit at my desk and write on my laptop. However, I now write everything on my iPad.
I’ve started to write on my laptop again since we arrived back home. And I’ve tried to find a suitable writing place… at my old desk, on the lounge, at the breakfast bar in the kitchen, at the dining room table, even on the floor leaning against a wall.
But nothing has worked.
