Reality Blog: On the Hunt for Passive Income — Do We Finally Have a Solution?

Mid-September, I gave you an update of my progress towards the goal of generating an income stream of $3,000 per month by December 31, 2019.

At the time, I was happy with progress to date. I decided to keep doing more of the same, and let traffic to Top Wire Traveller gradually build.

However, if you listened to my interview with Heather and Nick, you might remember I asked them for ideas on how to break free of our Money-Making Website’s reliance on us.

It’s no longer a child, more a young adult. Yet it’s still running back to me and wrapping its arms around my leg for reassurance.

Traffic dips noticeably if I don’t publish a new article or post on social media. The time has come to push this young adult into the world, to learn how to survive independently of us.

What Do We Want?

You might be thinking I just need to focus on one path and stay the distance… stop searching for that elusive “next big thing” that’ll explode our traffic.

I don’t think I’m searching aimlessly though, I’m not being sucked in by shiny object syndrome.

We do have a path mapped out. However, there’s still something missing.

Creating Top Wire Traveller has been and continues to be a massive learning curve for both of us. The only way to discover what works, what fits, what suits our voice is to keep experimenting with ideas. This is something Nick touches on time and again in his Money-Making Website course.

You need to keep searching for what works and what doesn’t. The only way to do this is to experiment.

We know what we want, yet we haven’t quite found the formula yet.

So, what are we actually searching for? What exactly are we trying to achieve?

Two words… passive income.
