The Art of Pitching a Project

Client meeting - Overcoming client difficulties

Date: June 18, 2020
Time: 4pm, 2020
Topic: Getting Clients
Presenter: Heather Robson

Whether you’re trying to land a new client or looking to line up work with your existing clients, knowing how to pitch those projects can make a big different in your confidence… and in your success rate. In this webinar, Heather Robson digs into the art of making a good pitch.

A well-planned pitch can help your potential client see the value in what you’re offering. Rather than feeling sold to, they’ll see an opportunity… and that makes all the difference in getting the Yes.

During this webinar, Heather will talk about:

  • How to identify clients worth pitching to…
  • How to lay the groundwork before making your pitch…
  • The art of coming up with the right project…
  • The perfect structure for your pitch…
  • And more…

If you’ve been avoiding pitching projects because you don’t know what to say… or because you just dread the process, then this event is tailor-made for you!

  • I was under the impression that this program came with a job board and a forum, but they don’t seem to be here? I did apply to the Facebook group as K’Sennia Visitor, since that was the email I signed up here with, but I could apply with my real name FB, if the group is still active and that would be preferable. All good active FB groups use the three questions for anyone who applies. Having no questions makes me think it might be dead.

  • I did remember that today is an american holiday, and a Saturday, so people might be out barbecuing. But just because so much of the content is old and because there is so little community going on over here, that I have seen so far, anyway. I just signed up this morning. It was starting to feel like I’m in a ghost library. A interesting ghost library, to be sure. But still. I signed up hoping for a community outreach, so twas a teensy-weensy bit disappointed. If the FB group is still active I do highly suggest having your group admin set up the three questions. It helps so much to reduce spam and to ensure that those who sign up have true access privileges, etc.

  • *titters* Okay, so I went and looked in MyAWAI and I found the job opportunities page and I saw that the FB group has had 4 posts today, so not totally dead, which is good. 😀 See, I can solve my own problems if left alone to my own devices. Now I shall sit here patiently and wait until Monday, maybe to see if I’m let into the FB group. Guess I’ll go read something while I wait.
